Abstract

The interaction between shock-waves and aqueous aerosol laden with BT (Bacillus Thuringiensis) spores was studied in a novel shock tube facility. Wavelength-multiplexed laser extinction provided a time-resolved aerosol monitor. Viability of shock-heated spores was determined by agar plating techniques.
