Abstract
The multi-wavelength spectroscopy of the joints using x-ray-guided spatial constraints provides 3D images of oxygen saturation and water content with high resolution and improved quantitative capability. The recovered images appear to show that the OA joints have high water values and decreased oxygen saturation. And these two identified molecular/physiological parameters of joint tissues are possible to effectively distinguish between osteoarthritis patients and healthy volunteers in the hand.
