Abstract
Label-free detection of diseases using nonlinear optical microscopy (NOM) has drawn great attention in recent years. We applied label-free NOM to the exocrine pancreatic diseases and found significant differences between normal and cancerous pancreatic tissues. Multiple components involved in the diseases were also characterized. We demonstrate the potential of Label-free NOM for the early detection of pancreatic cancer and a better understanding of the pathology.
