Abstract
We demonstrate a novel technique for optical reflection imaging showing 2-D refractive index distribution along the geometrical thickness. This technique is based on simultaneous measurement of the refractive index and thickness of a sample by combination of the low coherence interferometer and confocal microscope. The interferometer and microscope provide the OCT and confocal reflection image, respectively. Simple image processing then results in the optical tomography along the geometrical thickness.
