Fluorescence spectroscopy and imaging for skin cancer detection and evaluation

Abstract

Autofluorescence and diffuse reflectance spectral properties of normal and diseased skin from 600 patients were analyzed. Spectral features were explored to improve skin cancer detection. Fluorescence imaging were used to delineate basal cell carcinoma margins.
