Abstract
The aim of present study is to reveal the different brain activity pattern between patients with gambling disorder (GD) and heathy control (HC) subjects during the completion of executive function and decision making tasks so as to identify the basic neural mechanism of this psychiatric disorder. In the study, we utilized fNIRS to explore the hemodynamic changes in the prefrontal cortex and our imaging results suggested that there were notable differences for the hemodynamic responses between GD patients and HC subjects.
