Abstract
A technique has been developed for spatially resolved measurements of unstable radical species (such as OH, NH, CH, and CN) in combustion gases. White these species typically occur in concentrations of 0.1 % or less, they are important reaction intermediates. The development of techniques for measuring the concentration of these species is therefore of interest in combustion research.
