Abstract
We have developed 256 × 256 HgCdTe focal plane arrays with a 2.5-μm cutoff for astronomical and remote sensing use. The temperature of operation for astronomy is 77 K, and for remote sensing it is 150 K. Operational yields above 99% have been obtained. Characterization and application results are presented.
