Abstract
We have constructed a double phase conjugate oscillator using atomic sodium as the nonlinear medium. The phase conjugator consists of a small high density sodium-seeded flame. When two of these flames, each pumped by counterpropagating laser beams tuned near the D2 line, are placed 2 cm apart, oscillation occurs between the flames.
