Abstract
To understand the laser-tissue interaction of IR radiation in the intensity range employed in today's surgery, one has to take into account the liquefaction of target material in the region of radiation impact.1 The dynamics of the liquid created cause unexpected and undesirable side effects for laser surgical applications.2
