Abstract
The novel distributed feedback (DFB) device structure with a K-stabilizing layer is shown in Fig. 1. The main difference between this new DFB structure and the conventional DFB structure is the introduction of an optimized "K-Stabilizing" layer between the active layer and the guide layer.
