Abstract
An important challenge for high and medium energy solid state lasers is to perform a diffraction-limited beam when the laser operates at high repetition rates. Also, a required function for target designation or material processing is to provide an optoelectronic 2-D beam steering. For achieving these requirements we propose and demonstrate the operation of a new laser structure which includes both a phase-conjugate mirror and beam steering capabilities.
