Abstract
Because of high gain of the copper lasers, the spatial coherence of the lasers usually is very poor. Although unstable resonators could improve output beam quality, the improvement is quite limited. The spatial coherence width is only several millimeters even if an unstable resonator with a large magnification factor is used. But the stable resonator laser has a much poorer spatial coherence.
