Abstract

Recently, oscillation on new laser transitions, 02²1–12²0, 10⁰l–20⁰0, and 02⁰1–1200 (double hot bands) and 01¹2–11¹1 (sequence hot band), in a low-pressure CO₂ laser with cw and pulsed discharge has been reported. Here we present the experimental results of an oscillation study on the P-branch of the double hot band (02²1–12²0) (Fig. 1) in a TE CO₂ laser.
