Abstract

It is well-known that during cascading of second-order nonlinear processes the phases of the generating beams can be nonlinearly modulated.1-2 This phase modulation was supposed to be directly dependent on the phase-mismatching of the generation process,3 but recently it has been theoretically demonstrated that phase-modulation of the pump beams is possible even at perfect phase-matching.4
