Abstract
Bright 2+1 dimensional spatial solitary waves (SSW) through type II second-harmonic generation (SHG) can exist in a biréfringent KTP crystal1 and be steered in angle using a coherent seed2 or the imbalance between orthogonal (“ordinary” and “extraordinary”) components at the fundamental frequency (FF).3
