Abstract

We have observed quasi-phase-matched parametric fluorescence in periodically sublattice-reversed gallium arsenide waveguides. Temperature tuning rates of 1.3 nm/K and 4.4 nm/K have been obtained for signal/idler around 1.6 µm and 3.0 µm, respectively.
