Abstract
Ultraviolet microchip cerium fluoride lasers have been demonstrated with high efficiency (up to 40%) and ultra-low threshold (7 µJ). These lasers represent simple compact wavelength converters to 290-330 nm for microchip Nd:YVO4 laser.
