Stable modelocked operation from a quantum-dot laser in a broad temperature range.

Abstract

We demonstrate stable modelocking operation in a two-section quantum-dot laser at temperatures ranging from 20°C to 80°C. The level of reverse bias, from which stable mode locking exists, was found to be lower for higher temperature.
