Abstract
We have designed and built an optical system for forming a single target illumination beam with four wavelengths, each of which occupies a quadrant of the four-segment beam. The system minimizes changes to the normal operating configuration, and allows for flexibility in selecting the wavelengths and their position in the beam. This effort has been in support of plasma physics experiments aimed at investigating optical nonlinearities.
