Abstract
Optical signal interconnection has been introduced into computers in order to eliminate signal delays, and other problems which increase with increasing signal frequency. These problems originates from the intrinsic behavior of electrons. Use of photons, instead of electrons, eliminates all the problems, because of the completely different nature of photons in the signal interconnection.
