Experimental Investigation on Parallel Extension of Optoelectronic Hybrid FIR Filter

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated parallel extension of optoelectronic FIR filters that flexibly increases the number of taps, enhancing filter resolution. The FIR filter resolution was doubled from 6.17 GHz to 3.09 GHz by the dual parallelization.
