Abstract

We propose a new method of pulse post-compression, named CAScaded foCusing AnD comprEssing (CASCADE) to nonlinearly compress 0.6-mJ, 515-nm pulses from 148 fs to 7.8 fs with an output energy of 0.28 mJ.
