Second-harmonic generation arthroscope with integrated femtosecond Yb fiber laser

Abstract

We have developed a second-harmonic generation arthroscope with integrated a femtosecond Yb fiber laser. The head of the arthroscope is covered with a stainless-steel cylinder of 4 mm in diameter and 180 mm in length. We demonstrate the second harmonic generation imaging of collagen of rat tendon.
