Abstract
Brillouin anti-Stokes signal is used to obtain the spontaneous Brillouin spectrum of an aluminosilicate fibre. The spectrum bears two prominent peaks separated by 340 MHz and exhibiting a temperature dependence of 0.7MHz/°C and 1.1MHz/°C.
