Abstract
Index-near-zero materials can strongly enhance light-matter interactions. The performance of light trapping greatly exceeds the conventional Yablonovitch limit. Moreover, Index-near-zero materials suppress radiative recombination, resulting in enhanced open circuit voltage in direct bandgap solar cells.
