Enhanced THz metasensors with bound state in a continuum

Abstract

An ultra-sensitive THz metasensor is presented based on high-quality quasi-BIC Fano resonance, which can distinguish extremely dilute concentrations (nM) of solutions. It provides a non-destructive sensing approach for disease prevention and diagnosis.
