Edge Dislocation of FWM Dynamic Grating in Photo-Refractive Medium

Abstract

Four wave mixing (FWM) (fig. 1) in photorefractive material (FRM) is being studied intensively [1]. One of interesting mode is double phase conjugate mirror (DPCM), when beams (1) and (4) are absent in their inputs. It is possible to have FWM incoherent beams (3) and (2) [1]. For this case fig.2 shows the variation intensity of all interaction beams (1,2,3,4) across the slab of FRM, The dynamic grating has plane iso­phase surfaces and variable amplitude (curve 5 on fig.2).
