Simulation of a self-switching nonlinear Bragg Reflector using realistic nonlinear parameters

Abstract

The self-switching effect in a nonlinear Bragg reflector is simulated using a Time Domain Beam Propagation Method. The device parameters were chosen to resemble a device based on SiON waveguide technology and nonlinear optical polymers.
