Abstract

The development of highly luminescent conjugated polymers is of great importance for promising applications in LEDs and "plastic" lasers. It was recently found that photoluminescence (PL) from polymer films under high optical excitation shows a strong line narrowing effect [1], Amplified spontaneous emission (ASE), superfluorescence, and exciton condensation are amongst the proposed mechanisms.
