Abstract
Channel waveguide titanium-sapphire lasers are very attractive to build integrated broadly tunable sources. However, while the bulk configuration is well known, the feasibility of channel waveguide titanium-sapphire lasers has been demonstrated only recently[1]. In this paper we present a steady state model to study the influence of the waveguide technological parameters and find the optimum values to improve the device performances.
