Abstract
Holographic and non-steady state electromotive force techniques as well as conductivity measurements were utilized to investigate the thermal fixing process in barium -calcium titanate (BCT). The non-steady- state electromotive force study can be conducted both in ferroelectric and paraelectric phases, yielding information about the grating behavior around the phase transition which cannot be obtained by traditional holographic methods. Experiments show that the grating in this material is not strongly affected by the phase transition which occurs around 100 °C (Fig.1).
