Abstract
We report on a new source for multi-photon EPR- entanglement [1]. The entanglement is created by the interference of two amplitude squeezed beams at a 50/50 beamsplitter. For the generation of the two independently squeezed light fields the Kerr nonlinearity in an optical fibre is exploited using an asymmetric fibre Sagnac interferometer. The quality of the EPR-entanglement, which can be achieved by this setup depends on the initial squeezing of the two input beams.
