Abstract
CRIGF filters are optical reflective filters that display a unique combination of spectral selectivity, angular acceptance and angular tolerance [1, 2]. Wavelength-stabilized external-cavity lasers using a simplified external cavity made of only 3 elements have already been demonstrated using CRIGFs as both output cavity reflector and wavelength selector [3]. Such cavities display extremely high robustness and ease of alignment combined with high laser performance (single-mode emission, output powers in excess of 30 mW).
