Abstract
High harmonic generation originates from multiple attosecond scale electron recollision events, in which the spectral envelope and high harmonic polarization carry information on the state of the recolliding electron and the parent ion, thereby probing femtosecond and attosecond processes in atoms, molecules and solids [1–3].
