Abstract

We investigate chi2 mid-infrared frequency comb generation based on degenerate optical parametric oscillation in a mm-sized cadmium silicon phosphide CdSiP_2 whispering-gallery resonator. First observations of sidebands due to internally pumped second harmonic generation are presented.
