Chirped Quasi-Phase-Matching Grating Design for Broad-Bandwidth, Engineerable-Phase Adiabatic Second-Harmonic Generation

Abstract

The use of adiabatic conversion for broadband, efficient, and robust second-harmonic generation with engineerable spectral phase is analyzed theoretically and numerically, and verified by experiment. The advantages compared with conventional methods are also discussed.
