Abstract
A multi-functional display is realized by utilizing polarization processing to reconstruct directivity of represented information. Fundamental architecture is composed of multi-layered liquid-crystal display (LCD) panels and computational reconstruction between coded images on the LCD panels. The proposed display performs 2D, 3D, multi-views, and secure display. Thus, the proposed display performs multi-functions that are generated by computation without changing hardware configuration.
