Abstract
Fizeau wedge is valuable tool in optical metrology due to ability for producing linear dispersion of a spatially extended light beam with a wide spectrum and for spectral tuning. Existence of multiple transmission peaks for a single Fizeau wedge limits the spectral range of its application. By applying an angular spectrum method for computation of the complex amplitude of the transmitted light field, we have shown that a stack of Fizeau wedges has improved optical properties. This is confirmed by the experimental check carried out with stacks from two wedges.
