Abstract
Color perception by the human eye is a complex problem. The electromagnetic modeling of the reflection by a given structure generally provides reflection coefficients which depend on several parameters: wavelength, polarization, observation angles. The color of the object also depends on the light source, and must take into account human color perception. In the first part of this paper, we present a convenient way to convert these reflection coefficients into colors that can easily be displayed on a computer screen, then printed.
