Measurement of Intracellular Oxygen Levels using Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM)

Abstract

We developed a controlled-environment FLIM system towards intracellular oxygen sensing, with a resolution of approximately 8 μM, covering the entire physiologic range (0-300 μM). We measured oxygen levels in normal and cancerous living cells.
