Abstract
Investigations of the properties of strongly disordered materials now occupy one of the central places in modern solid state physics. The using of high resolution electron microscopy and of neutron diffraction measurements have made it possible to obtain interesting information on the kinetics and internal structure of disordered crystals. However, the fundamental problem of the nature of the processes taking place in materials with a diffuse phase transition (DPT) has remained unresolved.
