Abstract
Chiral molecules play a very important role in chemistry and biology and have been known for a long time by physicists for their optical activity. Recently, their nonlinear optical properties have been studied: second harmonic reflection has been performed on isotropic layers of chiral molecules and have proved to be very sensitive to the molecular chirality1,2.
