Abstract
Quantum teleportation is a process by which the full information about a quantum state (here a superposition of polarisation states) can be sent using a classical transmission of information with the aid of long range Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) correlations in an entangled quantum state. Experimentally, quantum teleportation was recently demonstrated using parametric down conversion [1].
