Abstract

Semiconductor Ring Lasers (SRLs) are interesting devices from the technological point of view because they do not require cleaved facets or gratings in order to achieve the necessary optical feedback for lasing [1]. In SRL, light extraction is accomplished via evanescent coupling from the waveguide into several output waveguides.
