Abstract

We have developed optical sources for high bit rate Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) using active elements as well as passive schemes. These sources allow achieving 100Mb/s free space QKD with improved security and use components space qualifiable, the latter being an essential aspect for their deployment in space missions.
