Abstract

Polarization singularities [1] have been extensively studied over the last two decades. They are formed in optical fields of non-uniform polarization, and depending on their properties are classified into various types. For example, C-points [2] are isolated points of circular polarization, where the orientation of the polarization ellipse is undefined. At such points, the polarization is circular while around them is non-uniform and elliptical.
