Abstract

We present a single-layer high NA hybrid metalens operating at 350 nm wavelength. By combining a Fresnel with optimised binary grating, we avoid the shadowing effect of Fresnel lenses at high NA and are able to demonstrate a large area metalens and efficient UV fluorescence detection.
