Abstract
The facility for magneto-optical far-infrared spectroscopy installed at the U12IR beamline of the National Synchrotron Light Source (NSLS) at Brookhaven National Laboratory is reviewed. The performance of the beamline equipped with an SPS 200 (far-infrared), a Bruker 125HR (high resolution) spectrometers and a 16T Oxford Instruments superconducting magnet was characterized, and the first scientific results are reported.
