Abstract
Numerical simulations of laser propagation with contamination on components are performed with the CEA-DAM MIRO code. Light intensification at their rear surface, due to diffraction by front surface particles, is observed for metallic and dielectric particles at 0.355 pm- and 1.053 pm-wavelengths. Highest intensification is obtained for dielectric circular particles.
